Reflective Double Handle Traffic Dog Leash (RED, 6 FT)

Max and Neo was created to donate massively to rescues, not as a dog collar business that decided to donate a percentage of profits as a way to give back or as a marketing incentive. From day one, the question was how to donate, what to donate, and when to donate.

Our story of how we got our start is that Max and Neo Dog Gear is named after my dog Neo and my brother's dog Max, both of whom lived happy lives in Arizona. When Neo passed away, I began fostering rescue dogs and realized that running dog rescues required a lot of resources in both time and money. Max and Neo Dog Gear was started to help dog rescues with their never-ending need for dog supplies.

Because our mission is to help dog rescues, all of our decisions are based on that one goal. This is why we donate weekly, rather than waiting until the end of the year to calculate profits and send out one check a year. We know that rescue owners and their dogs cannot wait until January to get help, so we donate to rescues whenever they ask. There is no paperwork or red tape to jump through - they simply ask, and we donate.

Our Double Handle Reflective Traffic Leash is designed specifically to be used as both a regular leash and as a short leash for when you and your dog are walking near busy roads or in crowded spaces. The leash has two fully-padded neoprene handles, which are much more comfortable than normal leash handles and will prevent redness, chafing, or blistering on your hands.

At 6 feet in length, the leash has a handle at the end, like a normal leash, but also has a handle located 10.5 inches from the gunmetal finished bolt snap collar clasp. This second handle allows you to keep your dog much closer to you and gives you greater control over your dog's movement, which is important when walking near busy roads or in crowded areas.

The leash is made from very high-quality nylon, thick and tough yet soft and comfortable for the handler. It is designed to accommodate the largest breed dogs and is made for pullers. The entire leash is stitched on both sides with reflective 2mm wide stitching to increase your visibility at night and for added safety for you and your dog.

For every leash sold, we donate an identical leash to a dog rescue. Dog rescues are in constant need of dog supplies, and we hope to alleviate some of that burden by providing them with everyday products they need. We make sure our products are the highest quality because dog rescues deserve quality donations, not just dollar store junk. All of our products are designed and manufactured with high-quality control using the best possible materials.
